DESCRIPTION:<p>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade\, with partner org
 anisations\, will host meetings in Auckland\, Wellington and Christchurch 
 to discuss New Zealand’s trade negotiations agenda. Each event will includ
 e brief presentations from New Zealand’s lead trade negotiators for the fo
 llowing processes:</p>\n<p>• the proposed European Union-New Zealand Free 
 Trade Agreement<br />\n• the upgrade of the New Zealand-China Free Trade A
 greement<br />\n• the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (also kn
 own as RCEP)<br />\n• the New Zealand-India Free Trade Agreement<br />\n• 
 the Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relations Plus (also known as PAC
 ER Plus)<br />\nThere will also be an opportunity for members of the publi
 c to ask questions about New Zealand’s trade policy. Given the importance 
 of trade to our future\, it is important that all New Zealanders have the 
 opportunity to actively engage on trade issues. Trade helps generate the i
 ncome that we need to maintain our standards of living\, with the jobs of 
 hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders linked to export sectors.</p>\n<p>
 Members of the public and businesses are welcome to attend any of the foll
 owing sessions:<br />\n<strong>Auckland</strong></p>\n<p>• 20 June 2017 at
  5:30pm until 7pm\, a public panel discussion hosted by Auckland Universit
 y of Technology (free)\;<br />\n<strong>Christchurch</strong></p>\n<p>• 22
  June 2017 at 5:30pm until 7pm\, a public panel discussion hosted by the U
 niversity of Canterbury (free)\;<br />\n• 23 June 2017 at 7:30am until 9am
 \, a business breakfast hosted by the Ministry at the Novotel Cathedral Sq
 uare (free)\;<br />\n<strong>Wellington</strong></p>\n<p>• 26 June 2017 at
  5:30pm until 7pm\, a public panel discussion hosted by Victoria Universit
 y of Wellington\, Rutherford House\, lecture theatre 2 (free)\;<br />\n• 2
 7 June 2017 at 7:30am until 9am\, a business breakfast event hosted by the
