BRUNEI requires more experts and specialists in the field of ICT to develop the industry further, a senior official said yesterday.
Hjh Ismawati Hj Ismail, manager for ICT manpower development at the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI), said that AITI is sending students from local higher education institutions for a six-month internship at startups in Singapore.
Hjh Ismawati is hoping these students use the skills and knowledge they will learn in Singapore to contribute to the development of Brunei’s ICT industry.
