ANZBC AUT ASEAN FORUM 2017

Description:

ASEAN AT 50: MATURE AMBITIOUS AND OPEN FOR BUSINESS

...in cooperation with prime sponsor the Southeast Asia Centre of Asia Pacific Excellence.

ANZBC and AUT University bring you a full day Forum, with plenary and break out sessions followed by a cocktail event, marking the 50th Anniversary of the ASEAN organisation

ASEAN Forum 2017 takes a snapshot of ASEAN at the age of 50 and more importantly our engagement with it into the future. It identifies opportunities for ASEAN to develop in the current global climate of greater protectionism and nationalism and ways for New Zealand to step in to develop stronger relationships and business partnerships filling the void. The breakout sessions explore potential arising from the ASEAN Economic Community in specific areas and ask how we can work together on a practical level to create strong awareness of NZ in ASEAN and ASEAN in NZ.

Business speakers from ASEAN have been secured to augment keynote local speakers, panelists and moderators. The Prime Minister and Ministers have been invited to contribute.
