Kathleen Morrison

Kathleen Morrison is a civil litigation partner at Meredith Connell, the Office of the Crown Solicitor of Auckland and New Zealand’s largest litigation firm.
Originally from Singapore, Kathleen has spent her professional career in New Zealand. In recent times, she has worked almost exclusively with migrant and overseas investors from China and other parts of Asia. She has a good grasp of the challenges, both legal and practical, that migrant and overseas investors face, and has the ability and networks to navigate a solution.
Kathleen previously worked in corporate restructuring, and personal and corporate insolvency. In this role, she developed strong contacts with most professional services firms. She worked in partnership with these firms to advise directors and boards.
Kathleen has acted for various government departments during her time at Meredith Connell. She is also able to call on her colleagues to provide specialist advice on a myriad of government statutory and regulatory requirements when undertaking business in New Zealand, or in taking New Zealand businesses offshore.
